About DJ Revise
Sparking a club crowd’s interest and lifting their expectations is no easy feat but that’s something DJ Revise has mastered.
Hawaii has come to know Revise for always bringing a strong assortment of party rockers, street bangers and rare grooves from all angles.
A music tech-head by nature and necessity, settling for less does not exist in his world. The 18-year vet has the kind of focus to his craft that can’t be swayed even by the most mediocre or overhyped juke box DJs who swear they got skills.
He has played at numerous night clubs and events all over Hawaii and the United States. DJ Revise has played every 143 (Hawaii edition) the famous Los Angeles R&B party since 2015 and has also DJed at their home base at Los Globos.
In 2016, DJ Revise was invited by renowned turntablism record label Battle Ave and DJ-City for an open-format tour in the US. He toured Los Angeles, New York City, Houston, Phoenix, Austin, Denver, and Las Vegas with DJs Manwell, IFTW, and Dstrukt just to name a few.
The go-to DJ in the Hawaii hip-hop scene, DJ Revise has opened and played for countless national and local hip-hop acts such as DJ Rhettmatic and Illa J, Gift of Gab, Dumb- foundead, Shing02, and more.
Another extension of DJ Revise, REVISESOUND, is a mobile sound & lighting business that he started in 1999. He began his mobile business to bring the same quality and flavor of club-DJing to all types of events ranging from weddings to corporate parties.
Fast forward to present day, Revise is still active amongst the DJ scene. He currently is the resident for Bar35, Nextdoor, Manifest and Laylow Waikiki. He also heads the Battle Ave Honolulu Chapter to cultivate and elevate the local DJ community.
